Help Patti & Ender

As many of you know, Patti has dealt with asthma and autoimmune issues her whole life.  In the past few years she has been in the hospital multiple times and has spent many holidays in a hospital room (including Thanksgiving and Christmas this year).  In October of this year, Patti's asthma and blood pressure issues became too much and she had to go to the hospital once again.  She has been at one hospital or another (Northwest Medical Center in Margate, Cleveland Clinic in Weston and now Shands in Gainseville) since October 4th and the doctors are still struggling to help improve her condition so she can be released.  The medical bills for treatment and equipment are piling up and she will need extra care when she does get released.  The procedure the doctors are recommending is not covered by insurance but might be the only thing that can help at this point.   To make matters worse, Patti's beloved dog, Ender has developed cancer.  A few weeks after Patti was in the hospital, he required surgery to remove a large cancerous mass.  Ender is an incredibly sweet pup and misses his mom terribly.  After not seeing her for over two months, the doctors at Shands hospital were kind enough to allow me to bring him to see her.  But he needs much more care himself.  The poor pup has been to the ER twice in the last week and his care has been quite expensive as well.   So it has come time to reach out to friends and family for help.  Ender's medical bills alone are at $2400 and climbing.  Patti has not been able to work and has had no income for some time now.  We hope to raise money to cover Patti and Ender's medical bills and help cover her on-going bills like mortgage payments.   The stress of being sick and having a sick pet is overwhelming, especially during the holidays. We would like to do whatever we can to help relieve some of that stress for Patti so that she can focus on trying to get better and make the difficult decisions that she has facing her now.  I know this is a time of year when everyone's budget is tight.  But if you can find it in your heart to contribute any amount, it would be greatly appreciated.    Thank you for keeping Patti and Ender in your thoughts and hearts.
