Help Pastor Floyd with his healing Journey
Donation protected
Our journey began in August 2022 with a diagnosis of a large sarcoma in my husband's thigh. He had surgery in November to remove this cancerous tumor. He lost 4.5 liters of blood but God saved his life.
Six weeks later his femoral artery ruptured at home. His Doctor's were amazed how he survived they have never had patients survive this type of injury. Again God saved his life.
After his femoral artery ruptured at home and he lost almost 5 liters of blood the Doctors could not save his leg so he had a hip disarticulation amputation on December 27th, 2022. He had 4 more surgeries with a total of 6 major surgeries in 6 weeks with a hospital stay of 6 weeks.
In March 2023 he went into AFib and had to be transported by Ambulance to Duke Hospital for another 5 day hospital stay.
On May 24th 2023 he was admitted again to Duke Hospital with osteomyelitis a bone infection in his pelvic bone.
We live 3 hours from Duke hospital and after all his medical emergencies we are financially drained. We need help to stay at Duke for 8 weeks and for medical expenses.
My husband is a retired United Methodist pastor and through all of this we have experienced the Goodness of God with every step of this journey.
Thank you for your prayers
