Help Mr Pavlou rebuild Farm lost in Cyprus fires

Hi there, my name is Peter Panayides. I am fundraising on behalf of Panayiotis Pavlou, who has spent his entire life farming in Eptagonia.
Back in the 1970s when many Cypriots left due to economic pressure, Panayiotismade a decision to stay behind and help his father Kostas Pavlou a senior member of the farming community in Eptagonia.
As farming was already becoming a dying trade Panayiotis decision to make a life as a farmer was critical to the economy of Eptagonia and the preservation of this national heritage.
On the 3rd of July 2021 everything Panayiotis had worked for was destroyed. The fires were so devastating that it completely destroyed over 40 years of his life’s work.

As the fires ravaged Eptagonia, Panayiotis refused to leave, instead he fought with great courage and determination to save not only his home from being destroyed but also his neighbour’s, sadly by the time he got to his farms everything had already been destroyed. Panayiotis is 67 years of age, has no income and little hope of getting any assistance.
The Funds we collect will be used directly to assist Mr Panayiotis and his family as well as the local community rebuild their lives.
The work involved to restore the farmlands is monumental, uprooting and removing burnt trees, cultivating, replanting and rebuilding the infrastructure required to successfully re establish his farm as a going concern.
Mr Panayiotis Pavlou is in need of these funds urgently as he has no other sources of income other than a pension of 350€.
With many costs and no source of income he is sadly facing financial ruin unless we extend our support and assistance.
It is Mr Panayiotis’ wish to see the farm like it was before the destruction. He better than anyone knows the work required to rebuild what was lost and even though he has an almost impossible task ahead of him he wants to rebuild his life.
