My name is Ursula Schneider, I am Pamela Williams oldest sister. Pamela was recently diagnosed with cancer this past May, 2017.
This GoFundMe account will be used to help my sister with the management of medical bills and keeping her home for her and her son.
This is going to be a long and expensive road. With hospital, doctor and treatment costs piling up, I want to help my sister with reducing her stress by not having to worry about money.
The news came as a complete shock to everyone. It all started with a colonoscopy she scheduled because she was having strange symptoms. When it was time for her follow up, the news was not good. Her doctor found an unusually firm mass in the upper rectum area. The biopsy came back as cancerous.
Pamela has barely recovered from ovarian cancer which was just a year ago. Two cancers within two years, you can see how this news just devastated everybody, including her.
This is why my cause is so important. Pamela met with the oncology team on July 5th wherein they have informed her she will be needing both chemotheraphy and radiation.
Today July 10th she met with her surgeon for her consultation and scheduling for her chemotherapy port and it turns out they are/have scheduled that procedure for tomorrow July 11th.
Her positive attitude has helped us all out when we needed it. Now this is the time for us to be positive and supportive for Pamela.
Keep her in our daily prayers and hope she recovers at a Speedy Gonzalez (the little cartoon mouse) rate. I apologize in advance, for many of her friends having to learn the news this way. It is impossible for her to individually reach out to every single one of you as she needs to keep some privacy during this time (phone calls, visits, etc for it’s extremely stressful on her). We can all respect her wishes.
We will keep you current as treatment and healing unfolds.
