Help out our brother Serge
For those that don't know Serge, a young, kind spirited young man who started building wind turbines with Borea Construction in June, joined the offload crew. Eager to learn, Serge quickly made friends with his colleagues, and showed a strong potential within the field.
As we are all sadly aware, life can change in the blink of an eye. On Sept 1st around 6pm, after a productive day at work, Serge was driving to his "at work" home in Swift Current when he got a flat tire, during the act of changing the tire Serge was struck by a grain truck passing by, and was seriously injured. Serge was taken to the hospital in Saskatoon where he underwent surgery. While we await further information on the outcome, our hopes and prayers are with both Serge and his family.
In a world that can sometimes seem so disconnected and chaotic, we must remember that we are all family, we all have the same hopes and dreams, and we all work towards a common goal of happiness and security. It is situations like this, that we must come together to support each other, not only emotionally and physically, but a tragedy like this can cause extreme financial stress on an already stressed person and family.
We, Serge's Borea family ask that you give what you can to help Serge and his family during these times, as well as your thoughts and prayers.
