Dewey's Recovery Assistance Fund

Donation protected
On Friday, May 26th, shortly after arriving at work, Paul (known to most as Dewey) suffered a stroke that left him with some speech impairment, and partial paralysis of his right arm and leg.  He has been working hard at Northeast Rehab in Salem, NH, and is making progress every day, but there is still a long way to go.
He will be leaving Northeast soon to go live at his mother’s because he is a fall risk due to the paralysis in his leg.  He will need months of PT and OT home visits, and one of the things he needs most is a Lift Chair, which will help him to move from a sitting to a standing position without assistance.
We know how many people love Dewey, and thought that if enough of us chipped in what ever amount (anything helps), we can get this chair for him as a way to get him started on his road to recovery at home.  Anything above the goal amount for the chair will be used for renovations to be done to the house where he’ll be staying to make it more accessible for him, so anything you can donate will go to good use.
Thanks so much!
