Help Our Team Purchase A Portable Defibrillator

In light of the tragic Christian Erikson event during the euro 2020 tournament, its hit home that this can happen to anyone and anywhere, even the highest level footballing athletes who under go continuous monitoring and medical examinations Heart failure can and does still happen. This is something that is a constant worry for all parents and coaches.

Our amazing team Abbots Youth Under 16's play at various locations, some of which are quite remote where access to a fixed community defibrillator is impossible therefore we are trying to fundraise to purchase a portable defibrillator which we can have with us at every match for both our team , the opposition team, parents, siblings and coaches. To have the reassurance of the defibrillator would be an amazing thing to have, knowing we have the opportunity to act fast if this terrible situation were to ever occur and potentially save a life. When someone suffers from sudden cardiac arrest, every minute without CPR and defibrillation can reduce the chance of survival by up to 14 percent.

Please help us to achieve our target and provide this absolutely vital medical equipment for the health and safety of our young lads, their families and coaches.
