Help our team get to the World Finals in Iowa!

The Madison Middle School Odyssey of the Mind team earned SECOND PLACE at the 41st Annual Connecticut state tournament and have been invited to advance to the World Finals at Iowa State University scheduled from May 24-28!

 

The team consists of six, 5th-graders representing Trumbull, Connecticut's Madison Middle School team. Their Odyssey of the Mind journey started three years ago, and the students have been working very hard ever since for a shot at this special opportunity. They have poured their creativity, problem-solving skills, time and good, old-fashioned elbow grease into perfecting their performance. 

 

We will be 1 of only 2 teams in our problem and division representing Connecticut at the World Finals! With over 800 teams from more than 20 countries at the competition, we are proud to represent Connecticut on this international stage.

 

Will you help us get there?

 

We need to raise roughly $10,000 in order to attend the 4-day World Finals competition. The total cost will be roughly $14,000 (~$1,300 per student & adult chaperone). 100% of donations received will be used for the team’s registration fees, travel expenses, on-site accommodations and expenses associated with shipping set materials, props, and costumes to Iowa State University. In addition to this online fundraiser, our team is planning additional fundraising activities. Stay tuned for more information about these opportunities. Offline donations may also be given to one of the team members or coaches.
