The high school band parents from Somerset and Berkley, MA music program are humbly asking for help to get our amazingly talented and dedicated band children to Pearl Harbor on December 5-10, 2022.
Our band children from Somerset and Berkley, MA have been asked to represent the state of Massachusetts to march in the 81st Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade and perform in a concert on the USS Missouri. This is a fantastic once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our high school children to honor the last surviving servicemen and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom on that fateful morning of December 7th, 1941, when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor marking the United States' entrance into World War II. During this visit, our students will also have the opportunity to visit the USS Arizona Memorial.
As you can imagine, with the rising costs of everything, this incredible opportunity comes at a steep price. The band parents have started this GoFundMe page to raise money to help our students with the financial burden this once-in-a-lifetime trip costs. 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will go DIRECTLY to the students on this trip.
