Help our Odyssey of the Mind Team get to World’s

Hello, my name is Carla Hernandez. I am a 2nd grade teacher as well as an Odyssey of the Mind coach at Ed Pastor Elementary School in San Luis, Arizona. My team consists of seven students from 5th and 4th grade. We are seeking for your support for our upcoming participation in the Odyssey of the Mind World Competition. Our school won FIRST PLACE in Problem 5, Division 1, in State Competition on April 1st, 2023, and will represent Arizona at this prestigious event, which will be held in Michigan State University on May 24-27, 2023. We need your help to raise the necessary funds to cover our expenses and make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity a reality.

Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that encourages creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills among students from around the world. Our school's team has been working tirelessly for months, developing their problem-solving skills, and preparing for the competition.

As you can imagine, participating in the Odyssey of the Mind World Competition involves significant costs, including travel expenses, registration fees, accommodation, and meals for the team members and their chaperones. The estimated cost for our team to participate in this event is $15,000.00. While our school is making efforts to raise funds through various means we are still short of the total amount needed to cover all expenses.
