In the early hours of Monday morning, August 10, Nail Perfection fell victim to the destruction caused by looters in Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood.
The owners and all of the nail techs in this salon are immigrants from Vietnam trying to make a living and pursue the American dream. Their livelihoods have been drastically impacted due to the looters. They were hit especially hard during the pandemic during the stay-at-home orders, and just when they were beginning to get back on their feet with the re-openings, this looting occurred, setting them back even further.
After speaking with the owner, she has asked me to help set up this Gofundme. Understand we are all falling on hard, stressful times during this pandemic, but anything helps. The donations will go directly to employees.
