Help our Irish Hockey Girls go International!

Lochlynn and Kaitlynn Labelle are two of only 4 girls selected for the Team Ireland Junior Ice Hockey Team, a major achievement for hockey girls in Ireland.

The team is competing at a tournament in Nova Scotia, Canada this April, and the girls are over the moon at such an opportunity.

However, Sport Ireland does not support ice hockey or its national team hockey athletes (yet!) despite these kids giving it everything they've got to reach a level that they can compete internationally, and there is a cost to each player of €1,200+ for this trip of a lifetime for them.

With bringing the twins to Belfast 3 times a week for practices and games, all over the country for inline games and practices and now training and games across the UK we're feeling the strain and although we are delighted that they've made Team Ireland, we were not anticipating the cost of sending them abroad for it.

We are thus reaching out to our friends and family for any support to the girls that you might be able to give.

It would not only help Paul and I, but it would mean the absolute world to the girls.
