ICHIBAN JAPANESE GRILL WILL BE CLOSING!
It saddens me to say my older sister and brother-in-law's famous restaurant will be shutting down in a month! There have been rumors that their current landlord had sold the property and the new owner plans to tear down the entire complex to build a possible gas station/convenience store. They have been trying to get answer to confirm the allege rumors, but received no answer. Tonight, February 19,2021, they received their final 30 days notice to move out of the complex.
In mid-March, Ichiban will be officially closed until further notice. They are currently desperately looking for another place to relocate our favorite Tuscaloosa Roll we enjoy so much! Even though they are business owners and are very wised with their money, this is an unexpected event happening. They were totally not expecting this to happen in such a short notice. Since no prior notice was given, there have been no preparation made for the relocation. They do not know how long they will be out and how much money will be needed into the new location.
Anyone who can donate, no matter what how much or how little, they will greatly appreciate that everyone is showing them love and support in this transition.
