Help our guests get into a home of their own!
The purpose of Project Roomkey has been to provide safe, non-congregate shelter options for people experiencing homelessness, protect human life, and minimize the strain on health care system capacity.
Safe Space has been providing motel guests with onsite staff support, 3 meals a day, and wrap-around case management that includes support accessing medical appointments, mental health services, and services like SSI and the VA.
Some of our guests have found low cost rentals, but most do not meet the qualifications required by rental properties. Several of our guests want to purchase trailers to live in, have savings to cover some of the cost, but need help affording a safe place to live long term.
Your contributions will go towards purchasing trailer homes and the start up costs for water and electricity for folks who have been experiencing chronic homelessness so they can have a place of their own!
