Help Our Friend With Medical Expenses

Dear Friends,

I, Nedzad Halilovic and my wife Aida Halilovic are requesting your urgent donation for our beloved friend Jazmir Beslija who is a civilian victim of the war in Bosnia. Jazmir and I are originally from Bosnia and friends for over 20 years. He has been shot in the leg during the Sarajevo siege and while in the hospital granate pierced the wall and injured him even more in his stomach.  At that time, the doctors had to remove parts of his intestines and replaced them with the plastic one. Luckily, he was air-lifted to Germany and later on he was transferred to the U.S.A. Following his arrival, he had to go to immediate surgery to save his leg. After 25 surgeries, unfortunately, his leg had to be amputated. Last week he was admitted to the Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, GA following the excruciating stomach pain. In order to save his life, doctors had to perform surgery on his stomach. They removed the plastic intestines and discovered that he has colon cancer. He is still in critical condition and living at the edge of life and death.

Jazmir Beslija and his wife Belma Beslija have five children aged between ages 5 and 18.  Jazmir’s wife Belma is an unemployed woman who is taking care of all five kids and unable to manage the costs of her husband’s treatment. Jazmir was the sole breadwinner for the family, therefore, it is now a huge burden for Belma to run their family.    On the humanity ground, we request everyone to donate and share this message with others in order to save this family.  Please note that all of your donations will be directly deposited to Belma Beslija’s account
