Help Our Friend Shelly & Her Family

Our friend Shelly, her husband Shota, and their four-year old daughter Esme just found out that their home burned down in the Woolsey fire. They were evacuated from their home on Friday and have been staying with friends awaiting news.
They were first-time homeowners and moved into their home less than two months ago. They left with only a few changes of clothes, family photos, and their cat, Oslo when they evacuated. Everything else is gone. Shelly is an artist and they were converting one of the bedrooms in their home into her art studio. She lost all of her paintings and art supplies in the fire. Her husband, Shota is an LA County lifeguard currently stationed in Malibu and has been aiding the fire relief efforts at Zuma Beach, where parking lots are being used as a staging area for Fire Apparatus as well as an evacuation site for displaced animals.
Shelly and Shota are two of the kindest, most humble, thoughtful, and generous people that I know. The past few years have been incredibly challenging for their family due to serious health and medical issues, where Shelly was hospitalized for over month and has had to undergo multiple surgeries since then. Their family could really use our help and donations to help them rebuild their home.
Anything you can contribute, no matter how small will help. All donations will go directly to their family to help rebuild their home, recover their belongings, and cover any costs and expenses they may incur while they are displaced without a home.
