help our friend Kristin heal!

Our dear friend Kristin has been courageously attempting to heal from breast cancer with primarily natural treatments in addition to surgery. At this point, a third major surgery with several days in the hospital and about 6 weeks’ recovery  appears to be the key to her survival. Kristin is a beautiful mother of 2 boys, an artist, teacher and kind-hearted cat angel...rescuing and caring for a menagerie of felines, as well as her 2 beloved senior cat companions. She is concerned about their continued care as well as meeting the needs of her teenage sons. She is also fiercely independent and holistic and so taking this route has not been an easy choice for her and she will need much support.  Her friends are hoping to raise enough money to cover home care after surgery, cat care and food (volunteers needed too!), as well as continued necessary alternative medical care for herself as well as for her son who has had multiple traumatic brain injuries and continues to suffer from post concussion syndrome. Our goal is to raise $7000 to ensure that Kristin can focus on healing rather than financial worries after her upcoming surgery. Please help if you can. Every little bit makes a difference!
