Help Our Friend Charlie & Family

I want to start by saying that I have never created a GoFundMe Campaign. Seeing a friend in dire straits when he works so hard for his family has brought me to creating what you all see here, in an effort to get him the help he and his family need. 

Years ago through electronic cigarette communities online, I met Charlie Brown. I thought his name was a joke for at least a year, and constantly said things like 'Good Grief Charlie Brown' etc etc. 

Charlie has had quite a few significant health issues since we met, and has truly felt the impact in more ways than one now that his battle has become a financial one to this extent. 

Charlie has four children (twin boys are 8 years old, his daughter is 13, and his oldest son is 18. He's been happily married for decades and although he has struggled in the past, he's always been able to make it work by putting his family first. 

He bought a home not just for him and his family, but also so that he could move in his Mother and Grandmother both suffering with Cancer and care for them in a much more comfortable atmosphere. He feels it is his duty since they both would give anything to help him throughout his life. (THIS IS THE KIND OF PERSON CHARLIE IS)

These past few months Charlie has been behind on many bills and has barely been able to pay for his high cost medications. He has had his wife in charge of all finances every week when he gets paid to make sure they get caught up. 

His wife in trying to get them caught up ASAP rather than risking losing their home, took a high interest loan out to pay for his medications and all of the other bills they were behind on. 

Well, during this process he received a Notice of Intent to Foreclose from Chase Bank served by the State of Delaware. 

This notice is due to the mortgage payments never being made as he was under the impression they had been being made. He is now over 90 days behind and the foreclosure process will begin if he cannot come up with $6000 (three months plus $1200 late fees) by 4/20/18. 

Terrible things happen to good people every single day. I know Charlie to always be a selfless, loving, and good willed - honest to the bone man and friend.

If I had the means to help him currently, this would never be created. But I feel he has shown significant positivity to the World, and maybe just maybe through friends, family, and the communities he's a part of online - we can all find it in the kindness of our hearts to set he and his family sailing past these struggles they're currently facing hard.
