Help Our Family Rebuild Our Home

Hi my name is Raiven, I live in Staten Island with my two brothers and my parents. On September 2nd, Hurricane Ida hit my family home. Our basement completely flooded 7ft. The basement was my parents room as well as a storage for our childhood belongings, baby pictures, birth certificates, clothes, shoes, as well as basic daily necessities i.e (our washer and dryer, towels, toilet paper, boiler, water heater) all completely destroyed. During the COVID lock down last year, my dad completely renovated the basement all to be destroyed in one night. We have officially drained all of the water out from the basement. Due to hurricane Ida there was extensive damage to the basement , which will need to be gutted out and rebuilt again. The fire department and the police came to my house this morning and officially kicked us out and mandated an evacuation. This is an unfortunate and very challenging time for my family, if you see this post and can help out in anyway we would greatly appreciate that as our money will be spent toward rebuilding our basement if we are ever allowed back/ trying to replace as much as we can/ or possibly finding a new place to live.  Now we are not only dealing with the aftermath of the flood but the extensive damage that the flood caused leaving us to possibly be without a home with no estimate on if or when we can return.
