Our family would appreciate your support

5 years ago while trying to conceive our first baby, my partner and I, both now 31 had to put our life on hold. This meant cancelling holidays we had booked and most importantly our wedding. We required IVF and with no guarantee on timings, everything else in our life was at a standstill.

Finally in March 2020, just as the covid-19 pandemic hit, we had a successful IVF transfer that would bring us our beautiful, now 1 year old daughter, Ebony.

Sadly motherhood wasn't as I had hoped, as it was tarnished with post natal depression and anxiety which saw me signed off from my job role as cancer MDT coordinator at the local hospital.

Unfortunately whilst off sick, whilst trying my best to find the joy to life again, I was diagnosed with stage 1, grade 3 triple negative breast cancer in December 2021. Ironically, I commenced chemotherapy on 30th December 2021, 2 years to the day I began stims that would bring us our miracle baby. We are hoping that chemotherapy, followed by surgery and then radiotherapy will see another positive outcome so that we can get on with our lives and enjoy what should be the most magical time with our daughter, watching her grow up.

We have set up this page to raise any money possible that will help to make the life of our family easier. I have been signed off for a few months already and my pay will halve come March, which all adds to our financial stress. I would love to be able to buy a few wigs which I'd love to donate once no longer needed and for us to finally have a little caravan holiday at the end of treatment.

My partner and I, where planning on another IVF transfer which currently would be free, however this could change and may see us having to fork out by the time treatment is over and I hopefully have the all clear, so money raised can hopefully also be used toward that if needed.
