Help our dad fight CML

On Thursday, April 4th 2019, we received news that our father had been hospitalized. He had been suffering from general pain and a constant, worsening ache In his side. He'd dropped 20lbs in only a couple of months. Yesterday, after several tests, they diagnosed him with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML). Its a slow-growing form caused by a gene mutation that's only known cause is a nuclear blast or extreme amounts of radiation exposure. The 9th and 22nd chromosomes switch places, causing the mutation.

Thankfully, with a bit of chemotherapy, it can be manageable with medication that helps prevent the lukemia from further developing, and he can have a normal life for many years to come. This will require medications that he will need for the rest of his days. His full-time employer doesn't offer benefits and it will run at $30 per day just to survive. 
Our father has always been a hard-working man. From running his own business, juggling multiple contracts, to woodworking and botany, he has always worked so hard to provide for his family. 
Although he has applied for the Trillium program, it will take some time to process, and he is forced to pay out of pocket for medical expenses. We are asking for your help to raise enough money to pay for 6 months of medication for him to get him started off properly and nip this thing in the bud while they can.
