Help our chowder from violent dog attack

Donation protected
Hello everyone,

My family rescued chowder from Tijuana, Mexico about four years ago. It was an extremely hot day on the border and he was dehydrated, hungry and helpless. We fed him, gave him water then quickly realized that if we left him there, he would die of dehydration and starvation. We took him across the border to San Diego and we’ve been the best of friends since.

On Wednesday September 28, he was attacked on our patio by a large and aggressive dog that was let loose. He sustained 9 wounds, most of them so deep that his skin, muscles and bones were detached from his body. He needs stitches and emergency surgery. If it weren’t for the neighbors he would’ve been dead & our best friend would have been gone. He was so traumatized and hurt that he could not even move. He is currently still in the pet hospital & will need to undergo physical therapy afterwards. The upfront bill was more than $3,000+, $500 more upon pick up and more for his follow ups. This is all payments we’ve made up front. At this time we are humbly asking for your help and donations. Any amount will help. I’ll post pictures and bills & of course keep all of you updated on our beloved Chowder.
