HELP OUR BELOVED BEAUTICIAN BATTLE CANCER!

Hello everyone, My name is Barbara. We are raising funds to help with medical expenses for Bonnie, our beloved beautician who, heartbrokenly, was diagnosed with Colon cancer! Bonnie is more than just our beautician; she is our friend who has always supported us way beyond her styling chair! She has been there for us through our personal tragedies, funerals and even marches with us on our cancer walks! She embodies a maternal spirit of kindness and has been a staple in our community for a long time!

Since 1967, Bonnie has spent the past 55 years using her extraordinary hair care skills and talent to primp, press, cut, curl, color, and everything in between for thousands of customers in her community and beyond. She is the proud owner of Croom Boutique & Salon, the oldest hair salon in The Bronx. Bonnie has, undoubtedly, spent most of her time and life working there, living her dream. Incredibly, in all her 55 years working at her shop, she NEVER missed a workday! Sadly, on June 16th, her track record abruptly ended when she became critically ill at her beauty shop and was forced to shut it down. Bonnie was hospitalized and given a battery of tests that led to emergency surgery! We are devastated to learn she has been diagnosed with colon cancer!

She is about to start radiation treatment, fighting to get back to good health, and she's fighting even more fiercely to get back to her shop to serve her customers. Her customers, family, friends, and community are banning together to fight with her and for her! Please join us in helping with your donations to aid in the insurmountable medical bills piling up for Bonnie’s cancer treatments. Together, we hope to ease some of Bonnie’s financial burdens and help her focus on getting back to what she loves to do…giving people the gift of beauty, grace, and pride!
