Help our beautiful Liz with her cancer battle

Our beautiful Liz was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer just over 2 years ago while she was 19 weeks pregnant with her second child. Liz endured an aggressive surgery and extensive chemotherapy while she was pregnant before completing her radiation while she had a newborn daughter in tow, along with a 2 year old daughter at home. Liz being the champion that she is, took all of this in her stride and overcame this huge obstacle to be cancer free for the last 2 years.

Recently Liz and her beautiful family have been dealt with a devastating blow with the news that her cancer has returned. With a biopsy confirming that the same rare and aggressive cancer has returned, Liz has now begun her journey of meeting with top doctors from all over once again who are organising a plan of attack for her treatment. To begin treatment, Liz will have to undergo intense radiation to treat her cancer where she will be monitored closely and reassessed along the way. Further intense surgery and chemotherapy are possible options down the track if radiation fails.

Liz and her wonderful husband James are now faced with the added stress of huge medical bills along with the pressures of daily life, all while raising two young children and being forced to take time off work. Our aim is to be able to take away or greatly relieve some of the pressure for them so Liz can focus on her treatment and recovery.

Liz and James are both school teachers who are always selflessly giving back to their community and are always putting everyone before themselves. This is now our turn to help give something back to them in such a devastating time to help ease their pressure in some capacity.
