Help Obie Walk Again
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Obie.
I come from a breeder in Toronto and was transported to Safari pet shops in Montreal. Along the way, I caught the parvo virus. I was sick with the virus for about a month in a half, and was extremely contagious. There were nights the vets thought would be my last. For this very reason, I was kept in isolation. I was not eating and ended up losing a lot of weight and muscle mass. Due to this, and being kept in a cage with minimal interactions; I lost my ability to walk. I was then diagnosed with motor neuropathy disease. When Safari heard about my condition, they did not want me back seeing that selling me would be nearly impossible. I was almost put down, but was given a second chance when my new owner decided to adopt me despite all this. Doctors say that the prognosis is good and that I will walk again. However, it will take lots of consults with various specialists, physio appointments and different treatments. Thing is, these are very expensive. Please donate whatever you can, and help me walk again.
