This fundraiser is Nour from Gaza, her husband, and their 5 children: Muhammad, 13 years old, Bahaa, 12 years old, Amira, 8 years old, Joan, 5 years old, and Ghazal, 2 years old. Joan was waiting to enter kindergarten, and now her kindergarten has been destroyed, impacting her psychologically; she cries day and night. Muhammad, Amira, and Bahaa were excelling in their education and were very ambitious, and Ghazal, who is two years old, is not having her barest nutritional needs met at such a young age. Nour and her husband no longer have any source of income and have lost everything they worked for. They have been displaced ib the southern Strip several times, living in a tent in the winter and not having winter clothes, and in the summer, suffering from the heat, and the insects. No matter what season, Nour and her family suffer from lack of clean water, food, and adequate shelter.

Ideally, these funds would have been used to pay Hala agency for evacuation. However, the basic cost of surviving in Gaza is incredibly expensive due to high demand and extremely low supply. As such, funds from this campaign are used by Nour to provide basic necessities for her family.

Funds are wired via bank transfer to Nour by the Gaza Thrift Collective, as Palestinians in the Occupied Palestinian Territories can’t create GFM accounts and need to rely on middlemen. Your donations contribute to the continued survival of this Gazan family.
