Help No record their debut album

Hi, my name is Noelle, I’ve wanted to be a rockstar ever since I was a kid screaming along to Avril Lavigne. Here I am now, my first album ready to record and I need some help.

 

My band is myself on guitar and vocals, some of my best friends Erin Szalda-Petree on Lead Guitar and backup vocals, Duncan Szalda-Petree on Bass, Ally Fradkin on Keys and Caleb Tutty on Drums. We formed after some of us had been teaching kids rock camp at the Zootown Arts Community Center and started playing music together for Erin's album ESP "Backyard”( out on all streaming platforms). This all occurred within the pandemic and as you can imagine, opportunities to save money from playing shows hasn't been too much of a thing. Many have asked if we have recordings, not yet, but soon, with some assistance.

 

The recording dates are set for February and the whole album is ready to go, but we need a little extra push to get this project off the ground. To break it down for you, the funds we raise will go to:

- paying our recording engineer

-mixing

- mastering

-album art

-getting things up and running on streaming platforms

-getting some physical copies out there.

 

I want all the artists involved properly compensated. We have some starting ground, but in order to feel we can complete this vision, I would like to see if we can get some friend/family/ supporter assistance so that we can turn this thing around and provide you some cathartic of indie/alt rock, indie pop.

 

This album means a great deal to me, songwriting has given me a sense of purpose and self agency in a time where those things felt like they were washing away in mental health crisis as a result of PTSD. This album encapsulates my growing pains and the joy of surviving. The past two years of writing have been the strangest, most harrowing of my life. I sort through my nightmares and fantasies, reflect on the past and search for my own reflection of who I presently am. It has been incredibly healing. Getting the album off my chest feels like another huge step in that process. Any help I can get on the way means the whole world to me.
