Help Nicole beat breast cancer!

Donation protected
I am starting this GoFundMe page on behalf of my future sister in law Nicole Langer, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

After Nicole found a lump in her breast, she went in to have a biopsy which would reveal the results on July 5th, 2017 -  Stage 2 breast cancer.   We all were in shock, as you could imagine, but nonetheless put on our boxing gloves and are ready to face this head on.  It is an aggressive type of cancer that needs to be addressed quickly.    Nicole will begin receiving chemotherapy once every two weeks for sixteen weeks.  The plan is shrink the size of the tumor as much as possible, to prepare her for surgery this fall.  Since then, Nicole and Jay have powered through, doctors appointments, fertility appointments, blood work, body scans and everything else that comes along with this, despite really just wanting to meet with their florists, photographers and do cake tastings for their upcoming wedding.

Anyone who knows Nicole, knows the many reasons my brother Jay fell in love and proposed to her August of 2016.  Aside from her physical beauty, she is sweet, loyal, hard working and would do anything for her family, friends and loved ones.  She and Jay are over the moon about their upcoming wedding on September 30th, 2017.  Nicole has been the light of my brother's eyes since the day they met and it is extremely hard to see the 2 of them have to deal with such a burden during the most exciting time of their lives.

Since receiving the news, Nicole and Jay have received an overwhelming amount of love and support from everyone in their lives, but what I am trying to facilitate, is a little financial support.   As  you can imagine, this diagnosis and treatment brings immense medical costs. Nicole has also known that she wants to start a family as soon as she was married. They have been faced with the possibility of having to wait a few years due to treatments and medications. This is another huge added cost, as they now have to harvest and freeze their embryos before starting chemotherapy and radiation.
This is a costly procedure that insurance unfortunately does not cover.

Please, if you're able to donate, pray, light a candle or simply keep Nicole and her family in your thoughts, it would be appreciated more than you know.

Thank you for taking time to read Nicole’s story.
