Help Nico Beat Stage IV Cancer

About two months ago, Nico started experiencing constant back pain that we thought was a result of his exercise routine or stress from work - both logical assumptions for a young and active 27-year-old. The pain worsened at a fast rate and eventually moved to the stomach area. On March 11th, 2021, Nico visited the ER to hear the words we never thought we’d hear: “You have cancer.”

The diagnosis: Stage IV Colorectal Cancer, metastatic (spread) to the liver with lesions on the hip bone and lower right lung. 

If you’ve had the opportunity to know or meet Nico personally, you likely know how passionate and driven he is to achieve his dream-like goals; to make an impact; to leave a mark; regardless of the potential challenges. Whether it be through music, shows/festivals, new tech, or just because, his core purpose is to bring people together, and have fun doing it along the way. 

Now, it’s our turn to come together for Nico. The unfortunate financial burden that comes with this disease is heavy. The treatment will consist of immunotherapy or chemotherapy (dependent on further test analysis), radiation, and surgery that will span over a 2-4 year period per Barnes-Jewish Hospital’s top gastrointestinal oncologist. 

Nico will begin aggressive treatment April 2021 in St.Louis, the beginning of his road to recovery. All donations will go directly to these medical costs and more importantly, help Nico primarily focus on his mental and physical health rather than dollar signs and debt.

Nico isn’t finished leaving his mark, and he’s going to beat this. This cancer has no chance, because it chose someone who’s too strong; too persistent; too much of a fighter. With your support, we got this. #FightWithNico
