Help needed for Steve and Nancy Sperlazzo

Please, URGENT help needed for this kind and generous family. Our friend Steve Sperlazzo just went through a KIDNEY TRANSPLANT. It's been 4 years of ongoing kidney failure, due to 3 prescribed medications given to him for his heart with side effects of kidney failure. It happened.
A good friend offered to donate her kidney and she was a match! After months and months of testing, he finally had his surgery on Jan 30th. Where? Temple U Hospital in Philadelphia. The operation was a success! The kidney was working well, but they discharged after THREE DAYS--though he had to return the next day for an appointment! Complications set in due to some wrong calls by a doc, paperwork debacles, and lab mishandling but he's still holding on--and fighting! (The donor is doing okay--not great as she has had some complications also.)
What his devoted wife Nancy didn't know, and was NOT informed about or prepared for were the daily specialized labs that would be needed. Daily appointments to Allentown or Philadelphia or Bethlehem. So many appointments!
THEY ARE GOING BANKRUPT with the costs of gas, meals, and co-pays. Daily co-pays, some $30, some $40. Special procedures involving new drains, cost of new meds, and ultrasounds cost them a $500 co-pay! They spent 2 weeks in a Philadelphia hotel due to the complications.
Steve's wife is trying to juggle taking the trips, caring for her husband, and keeping her job! Note: Steve is unaware of the surmounting costs of everything so he will not stress.
We have calculated that they are spending $100 a day or more for expenses (not counting the $500 co-pays.) These special type of labs are set to go on for the next 5 months, and can only be done in Allentown.
Steve and his son Dave came and helped to put us back together after our flood and also helped us during our fire. They are the most precious, encouraging and giving people we know. They are hard-working and have incredible faith in God. We are just two of the many people they have helped ; to others they gave cars, food, money and even room in their home at various times.
Now they need our help. Please consider a gift in any amount to help them in their hour of need.
