Help Needed For Claire Arenius

Claire Arenius, needs our help! She is a beloved and well-known master jazz drummer/educator and composer living in Western Massachusetts. For decades, people have been enjoying her playing in various venues, states, and countries. Students in universities as well as in private study have had the great opportunity of learning from her over many years. She is truly universally loved, bringing energy into every musical situation. We have have experienced her “good vibrations” through the power of her drumming and the haunting beauty of her beautiful and deep compositions. Claire is committed to focusing on the good and bringing a positive outlook to every situation. 

During Sept. Labor Day weekend, Claire discovered from a Granby MA neighbor, that most of her possessions in a storage unit in Granby were stolen/gone missing. She had stored her possessions due to a move from Granby to temporary housing in Hadley MA on June 1, 2018.

The police were called in, and the word is out in the community to try and locate musical items, including two very valuable complete drum sets, recording equipment, microphones, a DAT recorder, other musical instruments, etc.

Claire later also found more items were missing, including a computer/monitor, winter clothes, artwork, bed, furniture, cookware, dishes, kitchen table and chairs, music books and drumming books for teaching, and much more. She basically only has the clothes on her back and one decent drum set at the present time.

Funds are needed right away.

Please help out and give what you can. Even the smallest amount can make a big difference for replacing what she has lost.
