My name is Mohamed , I am a Gaza war survivor in Egypt. My close family is still stuck in Gaza.
During the war we lost friends, our house, clinics, and all of our memories. The war is not over yet. My family is still at risk of losing their lives. Even more, I am not ready to lose my dream of becoming a doctor. My brother Ahmed and I joined Medical school in Egypt. I am still studying medicine in the university, having 2 years to graduate. My brother still have 4 years to graduate.
As all of you know, there are no jobs, no connections and no electricity in Gaza. So my dad is not able to send money for us anymore.
Unfortunately we are in a desperate situation, not having enough money to pay our monthly expenses and we need to pay our university fees.
The total targeted consists of:
- 5k dollars - university fee for myself
- 5k dollars - university fee for Ahmed
- 4k dollars - expenses for 1 year for myself (about 400 dollars per month are being spent on bills, food etc)
- 4k dollars - expenses for 1 year for Ahmed
- 2k dollars - repair costs for our damaged flat
