Help Nazreen raise money for Rooks Heath School

Hi there my name is Naz, and I am really passionate about equality in education and giving every student the chance to reach their potential and fulfil their dreams. Over the past 15 months we have seen the impact of the pandemic on education and in particular access to technology. It has been really upsetting for me to hear stories of families and how they have had to struggle, whether it be having to share devices or not having any kind of electronic device at all, which has really affected student learning. I have also been equally inspired by schools and communities and how they have they risen to the challenge and supported their students and families through these difficult times. The problem still remains, and there are still many students who don't have access to a laptop or device.

So I've decided to do something about it and help Rooks Heath School, where my son attends, to raise £5000 which will help them to purchase a minimum of 25 laptops which will make a huge difference to students and their quality of education and learning, and ensure no one is left behind. From 19th July I will be walking/running 5k everyday until 6th September to raise these vital funds. The great news is that my employer, Barclays will match all donations, £ for £, how amazing is that!
