Our dear friend Nazif needs your help to recover from his wounds received as a victim of a terrible crime.
Nazif immigrated to the US like so many others with a dream to succeed with his talents and to make a better life for himself and his family. We have watched this gentle, humble yet focused and faithful man work day and night to hone his skills as a master restaurateur, chef and caterer. His business has been successful for nearly ten years, a rare feat in the food service industry.
On December 13, Nazif was brutally attacked by 2 assailants. Nazif was shot four times, and his mobile phone and car were stolen while he was left to die. He was rushed to surgery at a trauma hospital in Houston where he has been slowly recovering in surgical ICU. His young daughter is here to encourage him, and his wife who is still unable to leave Turkey, are all worried about their dear baba and husband.
We love Nazif and want to help him at this difficult time. Although Nazif's Turkish Grill is still open for business with his amazing staff to run the show, Nazif needs money to help pay for his lengthy outpatient rehab.
