Help Native Foods Glendale Stay Open!

Hi my name is Mark and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of Michael Olivas, who is due to take over ownership of the Native Foods Glendale Colorado location on 11/27/2023.

Michael has been the longtime manager (and vegan!) of the Glendale location and has been the regional manager for the previous Colorado locations.

The pandemic and ensuing financial impacts and inflation have been devastating to many businesses, especially restaurants. It has broken our hearts that many other Native Foods locations have been closed and that dear friends have lost their jobs, and beloved guests lost their favorite place to eat. The Native Foods Glendale location will now be a privately vegan owned small business.

As a compassionate vegan and all around animal lover and lover of great vegan food, Michael is doing everything that he can to prevent the closure of the Native Foods Glendale location

Transfer of ownership is planned for 11/27/2023. Michael has already depleted most of his own personal financial resources in this transition, so I have asked him to let me create this fundraiser to raise additional funds graciously provided by the community that will help him in paying back rent, past foodservice balances incurred by the previous owners, retaining new payroll/accounting/tax services, making overdue repairs to the restaurant, and bringing Native Foods back to it's original glory.
