Help Nathan Buy a Bass!

I need an instrument for my education. 

I started playing bass in 6th grade, and instantly thought it was the coolest instrument. I soon started taking lessons from the bass teacher at BYU-Idaho in my hometown. I found out that the bass is a beautiful instrument capable of playing both bass lines and beautiful melodies. I have been blessed since then with many rich musical experiences. 

I am soon to graduate from college with a degree in music performance on the bass. However, I am without an instrument of my own.  My plan is to go to grad school and continue performing after my undergraduate degree. To do so, I need an instrument of sufficient quality that I can pass auditions, and hopefully win jobs. :D 

I started searching for a bass back in the beginning of 2017. I learned about the innovative work that Seth Kimmel was doing as a bass luthier (string instrument maker). His work is exceptional and beautiful. Check out his website! https://www.sethkimmel.com/  My wife and I visited his shop in April 2017, and decided to have him build me a custom bass. It looks like he will be finishing it around the beginning of October. He has done beautiful work on my bass so far. It has a walnut back and sides and neck, and a spruce top, and a beautiful busetto corner body. It will feature an extended solo fingerboard, a graduated tailpiece, a low b extension and removable neck. 

With the end of the project fast approaching, any size of donation would be welcome.
