Help Naomi attend the Evert Tennis Academy

I started online school in 7th grade, hoping to become a professional tennis player. Since my mother worked from home, she would drive me across town to take me to lessons, supporting my hopes and dreams. We went from coach to coach and of course I improved with every coach but they never took me to the level I am capable of reaching. Winning some small tournaments here and there but constantly losing second rounds to girls I thought I could beat really destroyed my confidence. My dreams of becoming a professional tennis player slowly died out as my years of training didn’t get me anywhere. My new dream became to play tennis at a top D1 college and yes, that dream isn’t much easier but one semester at Evert made me believe in my abilities. I managed to attend the Evert Academy with the help of Arizona Representative, Robert Meza, and former child prodigy, Shawn Foltz. A few people encouraged me to pursue a professional route and 18 grand slam champion, Chrissie Evert, and her brother John Evert, were hoping to have me back. With guidance from them and support from the coaches and the players, I think another semester at the academy would really help me get into a top D1 college or maybe even prepare me for the professional route. Maybe the teammates aren't beside me on the court during a match, but just like on a film set, the most important work in tennis happens behind the scenes. Just like that film set, I need a support team to help make my dream become reality and I ask you to join me on this journey. I categorized my fundraising under education because I am not only asking you to help me attend Evert, I am asking you to invest in my education. With my success, I would give back to the community with my time by volunteering and giving other children the opportunities I have received through this wonderful sport.
