A Letter From Nanda's Son, Ianis
Dear friends and family,
My mother, Nanda, was diagnosed with life-threatening cancer last year. Despite having medical checkups, the cancer went undetected for some time and was already advanced at the time of discovery. Unfortunately, she did not respond well to the treatment that was prescribed. Though we are doing whatever we can with the resources we have, it is becoming clear she doesn’t have a lot of time.
Nanda’s strength and spirit
My mother has done so many remarkable things in her life. She raced sailboats, sailed across the ocean solo, and even walked alone across a desert. But she regards finding her way to her spiritual teacher, Moojibaba, in Monte Sahaja as her highest accomplishment yet, and it is her greatest gift to me.
Nanda has been in Sahaja for many years. She has always been very handy and those skills found their way into almost every corner of the land. She is known for her readiness to do anything needed to help out. Moojibaba would sometimes say she has an uncanny gift to be in the right place at the right time.
Despite the quick decline of her health and intense pain in the body, my mom continues to move in life with the same strength of heart as I've always known her to have done. The sangha members in Sahaja who care for her on a daily basis express how uplifting and impactful her presence has been for them considering all she endures daily.
I am in constant awe at seeing how steadfast she remains in her commitment to freedom. I know her love for Moojibaba and Christ is carrying her.
The Treatment — Dendritic Cell Therapy & Stem Cell Therapy
By grace, we have just discovered a treatment called Dendritic Cell Therapy (DCT) that has been showing high success rates with no side effects. This window isn’t open for long and this is really her last chance—she needs to start the treatment this week, by 1 February, for her to have the best chance of it being effective.
