Help Najwa and her family evacuate from Gaza

Hello everyone,

I'm Najwa writing after 190 days of attempts to survive days filled with bombing, displacement, diseases, anxiety, limited resources, and insecurity. I decided to start a GoFundMe campaign and tell you my story as considered my last chance to survive this continuous genocide after the occupation announced the start of its new military operation in our camp (Nuseirat Camp).

On December 21, 2023, we faced a huge shock for us! I never imagined we would wake up to our house being bombed, filled with dust, rubble, and shattered glass. We were injured by shrapnel along with 30 displaced people who sought refuge in our home.

By the grace of God, our injuries were minor and we survived! I don’t know what kind of survival is this with all of what happened!

Since then, we have been suffering from displacement and its hardships. We moved to Rafah recently returned to stay with relatives in Nuseirat.

It's hard to describe the cruel conditions we face every day in Gaza. Our despair of survival is growing day by day. It is not just about hunger, disease, and fear, but a slow death.

I studied multimedia and worked as a passionate and distinguished user experience designer to prove myself in the field, but now all my dreams are on hold!

Since October 7, my entire family's sources of income have stopped for my four brothers and my father. This wasn't the first time my father lost his job; he lost it in the Nuseirat fire in 2020 and lost his brother then too. He returned to work, but it took a very long time (he had a construction materials manufacturing workshop).

The war drained us financially. we struggle to provide the basics of living with

skyrocketing prices under extremely low humanitarian conditions.

My mother suffers from chronic hypertension. With the shortage of medical supplies, she ran out of medication. We found an alternative, but it caused her troubles including breathing difficulties and severe stomach pains, all weakening her health.

My married sister has moved to us from northern Gaza with her husband and their one-year-old daughter( Ghazal). We don't know anything about her house now.

As for my married brother, he lost his entire house and he has two daughters( Maha and Maria)

We have three grandchildren, the most affected among us, suffering from diseases constantly. They have no space to play and enjoy because the danger is everywhere!

Our eldest granddaughter, Maha, aged 5, suffers from hydrocephalus and spina bifida. She started a treatment plan of surgeries and intensive physiotherapy sessions in September 2022 in Jerusalem with a planned surgery in mid-October 2023. Now her condition is deteriorating after the significant developments we've experienced, and we're on the verge of losing these results due to the suspension of her treatment plan.

My fear for my family and their great hope in this campaign are the biggest motivations driving me to work on its success and to collect donations as quickly as possible. I humbly and urgently ask for your help to save our lives from this genocide.

The cost of coordinating the move to Egypt with Yalla Office is $5000 for individuals over 16 years old, and $2500 for those under 16.

In every direction, we face life-threatening difficulties. These costs far exceed our capabilities since we are a large family of 5 sisters, 5 brothers, parents, and 3 grandchildren.

مرحبا، أنا نجوى أكتب بعد 190 يوم من المحاولات للعيش في أيام يملؤها القصف والنزوح والمرض والقلق وقلة الإمكانيات وفقدان الأمان ، رغمًا عنا وفي محاولة جديد لحفظ أنفسنا من الإبادة المستمرة وبعد أن أعلن الجيش عن بدأ عمليته العسكرية في مخيمنا (مخيم النصيرات) هذا ما دفعني لإنشاء الرابط وكتابة قصتنا لكم ..

في ٢١ ديسمبر ٢٠٢٣ كانت الصدمة الكبيرة لنا!

لم أكن أتخيل أننا سنستيقظ على قصف منزلنا ونمتلئ بالغبار والركام والزجاج المكسر ونُصاب بالشظايا نحن و٣٠ نازحًا ممن لجأ إلى بيتنا بفضل الله إصابتنا كانت بسيطة ونجونا ! لكن أي نجاة هذه ومنذ ذلك الحين ونحن في معاناة النزوح، نزحنا إلى رفح وعدنا قبل فترة وجيزة عند أقاربنا في النصيرات، من الصعب وصف ما نواجهه كل يوم في غزة ويأسنا من النجاة الذي يتزايد يومًا بعد يوم، ليس الأمر مجرد جوع ومرض وخوف، بل إنه موت بطيء

درست الوسائط المتعددة وأعمل كمصممة تجربة مستخدم مستمرة بشغف وتميز لإثبات ذاتي في المجال، لكن الآن كل أحلامي أصبحت معلقة !

منذ السابع من أكتوبر، توقفت مصادر دخل عائلتي بأكملها، إخوتي الأربعة و والدي، لم تكن هذه المرة الأولى التي فقد فيها والدي عمله، حيث فقده في حريق النصيرات سنة ٢٠٢٠ وفقد أخيه فوق ذلك، صحيح أنه رجع إلى عمله لكن الأمر استغرق وقتًا طويلا جدا (كان لديه مشغل لتصنيع مواد البناء)

وبعد أن استنزفتنا الحرب ماديًا نعاني من صعوبة توفير أساسيات العيش مع الارتفاع الباهض للأسعار، وللأسف تحت ظروف إنسانية متدنية للغاية

والدتي تعاني من الضغط المزمن ومع شح المستلزمات الطبية انقطع عنها الدواء، وجدنا البديل لكنه يسبب لها المتاعب من ضيق في التنفس وآلام عسيرة في المعدة وهذا كله يضعف صحتها

أختي المتزوجة نزحت إلينا من شمال غزة مع زوجها وابنتها ذات العام الواحد(غزل)، لا نعلم عن بيتها شيء الآن

أما أخي المتزوج فقد بيته بالكامل ولديه طفلتين(مها، ماريا)

أحفادنا /

لدينا ٣ أحفاد الأكثر تضررا بيننا يعانون من الأمراض بشكل مستمر، ليس لديهم أي مساحة للعب والترفيه فالخطر في كل مكان !

مها حفيدتنا الكبيرة تبلغ من العمر ٥سنوات تعاني من مرض الاستسقاء الدماغي وفتق في العمود الفقري (Hydrocephalus & Spina bifida)

◦ بدأت خطة علاجية من عمليات وجلسات علاج طبيعي مكثفة في شهر أيلول ٢٠٢٢ في مدينة القدس وكان مخطط لديها عملية في منتصف أكتوبر ٢٠٢٣ والآن حالتها في تردي بعد التطورات الكبيرة التي حصلنا عليها ونكاد نفقد هذه النتائج بسبب وقف خطتها العلاجية
