Hello, my name is Maysara Mansour. I am a teacher and a mother of two angels. The first, Ali, is 4 years old, and the second, Omar is 2 years old.

We lost our beautiful home in Gaza, filled with our cherished memories, to a devastating bombing. Thanks to God, my family and I survived. However, my children lost their room where they spent most of their time drawing, coloring, and playing with their toys.

I also lost my source of income as I used to work as an Arabic language teacher, but the educational center where I worked was destroyed. We were living a wonderful life, but we lost everything beautiful in a single moment.

We fled our home with nothing but the clothes that we were wearing. Due to these difficult circumstances, we have been forced to move from place to place several times, Our displacement ended in Rafah City, where we live in tents amidst bugs and health hazards.

My children wake up every night in a state of extreme panic due to loud noises and the scenes they witness.

First and foremost, my priority is the safety and future of my children. They deserve a life free from constant fear and insecurity that looms over every moment of their lives.

Deciding to ask for your support wasn't easy, but witnessing the suffering over the past seven months without being able to leave the war-torn country due to financial constraints, like many other families, compelled me to seek your help. We are a family trapped in an unrelenting cycle of hardship, facing daily struggles for safety amidst difficult circumstances. Limited access to basic necessities intensifies the battle to secure the children's lives. The specter of violence on the horizon and deteriorating living conditions strongly urge us to seek refuge.

My goal is to evacuate to safety with my family. The cost of evacuation is:

$5,000 for myself
Another $5,000 for both of my sons ($2,500 each)
$5000 each for my mother and father
We are also eventually hoping to raise funds to be able to rent a house in Egypt, purchase clothes and toys for my sons (which were lost in the bombing), and to enroll my oldest son in kindergarten. Any funds remaining after evacuation will be put toward securing housing and starting life anew.
