Help my wife fight stage 4 breast cancer

Greetings all. This is Karl “the professional musician” asking for your help in our time of need. The 2020 pandemic has negatively affected all of us physically, financially, emotionally and spiritually in some way shape or form. Some of us have felt the grief, despair and helplessness of losing a loved one during this time. Most of us, especially those of us that are ”gig workers”, have lost our vital and essential income that has made it next to impossible to pay bills, keep food on the table and a roof over our heads. I am one of those people. During the last few months, an even greater challenge has come about : my wife of 33 years, Marilyn a.k.a. Lynn and “MommaLynn” was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of cancer—Stage 4, Triple Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer. I was also diagnosed with Clinical Depression and PAD. This is why I’m asking for your help. The State of DE has deemed me “ineligible” to receive pandemic unemployment . You see, to them, I’m seen as “fully employed” even though half of my total income was from being a self-employed independent musician. This is even though I definitely qualify as someone “whose income was significantly reduced as a direct result of the pandemic”. You see, I’ve fallen in between the cracks of a broken system. So, if I’ve positively impacted your life in the past, or know of someone who knows someone who knows someone that I’ve positively impacted as a friend, relative, musician, teacher, co-worker or just a decent human being, please help.
