Help my Ukrainian children and family at War

Dear friends, family and all good people,

My name is Sam Hy, I currently live in Lowell, Massachusetts USA. Today I am writing a heart cry plea for help to raise emergency funds for my two young children and their Ukrainian family and neighbors that live in Kharkiv, Ukraine where the country is currently in the state of war.

This is my first time doing a fundraiser page, please forgive me if I’m being brief or showing desperate urgency.

Since the news of attacks and invasions started from the Russian military, I have been in contact with my children and their caring mother via Messenger when they have internet connection.

They lived in Eastern Ukraine very close to the Russian border. The invasion and the sounds of explosives were heard through their bedroom window. For the first week of war they were hunkered in a safe basement with friends and family.

*Latest Update* my children and their mother has safely made it across the border into Poland. Thank you to all the prayers, donations and relentless support that helped make this possible.

Their situation is still very uncertain staying at a friends horse farm. They are with limited supplies and limited known resources.

They are officially war refugees and immigrants to the country of Poland.

My family escaped the war in Cambodia many years ago. I never thought my children would have to experience war in their lives firsthand.

They are so brave and carry a true Ukrainian survival spirit alongside their mother.

Today I ask for your help to raise funds for safe place living supplies, such as water, bread, pasta, cereal, first aid kits, clothes, heating and electricity equipment, etc. Help to pay for hiring a safe transporter, any public transportation tickets, border fees, documentation fees, passport fees, air line fees, housing fees, immigration specialists fees and more.

Any amount will help and is greatly appreciated.
