Hello friends and family! I am starting this fundraiser for a dear friend of mine. I met Lainey in 2017 when we began working together at a therapeutic foster care agency and we made an instant connection. Lainey and I instantly bonded over both of us being Mothers to small children. Shortly into our friendship, Lainey became pregnant with her son, Ezra. After her maternity leave, Ezra was at the office with us everyday and we all loved sharing him as Lainey worked. Everyone doted on him- he was pure perfection!
An unthinkable accident occurred on June 1, 2022 and Lainey lost Ezra, her 4 year old son, on Thursday June 2, 2022. Ezra was taken from this world entirely too soon. I am confident that he is up in Heaven watching over his Mother. Ezra also leaves behind two young sisters.
I started this fundraiser to help Lainey with all of the upcoming expenses that she will have to ensure. From medical bills, funeral costs, time out of work, etc. I am hopeful that with any money left over from bills, Lainey can escape with her two daughters on a family vacation, with the hope of bringing some joy into her life during this devastatingly dark time.
