Help My People Puerto Rico
Hello my name is Hector Mendez, Maintenance Supervisor at the New School. I want to thank the New School of Lancaster for their thoughts and prayers and for caring of the people of Puerto Rico in this time of need.
Some of my family lives in Puerto Rico, specifically Guayama, in South East Puerto Rico. Hurricane Maria destroyed some of my brother’s home where he lived with his wife and daughter. They are now living with his father-in-law. Also, my wife Yolanda’s family, her sister and brothers live in the southern portion of Puerto Rico, one of the hardest hit areas. They don't have no water,or electricity Communication.
They all need water and food just to survive. They can’t get cash because there is no way to get that without electricity. I feel that they will need money, when things become more normal, to begin the process of rebuilding their lives and homes. I am grateful for any help you can share or give.
