HELP MY PARENTS GET BCK THEIR SHOE REPAIR BUSINESS

My parents LUIS GUARICELA and MARIA GUARICELA own a small family Shoe Repair Business located at 275 S. 15th Street, Philadelphia PA 19102, which they have been working on for more than 20 years in Center City.

Sadly on Saturday Night May 30, 2020 around 11:45 pm my parents business was vandalized by a lot of individuals who were doing riots and looting in Center City of Philadelphia. These people broke into the business by shattering the glass windows and glass doors of the business, once in they started robbing the store merchandise, my dad’s $700 laptop and about $3000 in cash , later on these people threw 2 Molotov cocktail bombs into my dads business to burn it down ,and they put everything on fire causing my dad to lose about 10,000.00 worth of merchandise, also the water that was used to put out the fire damaged all the electrical/internet equipment and ruined the business floors.

Unfortunately the insurance doesn’t cover vandalism and my dad needs to pay out of his packet which is hard for him right now due to the pandemia. This fund is established to help them get their shoe repair back in business, we need to fix the place and get all the merchandise and equipment back that was lost. Those intruders caused lots of damages and destruction to the business and now my parents are not able to continue to work.

My dad Luis and my mom Maria are hard working people and good citizens who have never harm nobody and they don’t deserve what happened to them and their business.

Mis padres LUIS GUARICELA y MARIA GUARICELA poseen un pequeño negocio familiar de reparación de calzado ubicado en 275 S. 15th Street, Philadelphia PA 19102, en el que han estado trabajando durante más de 20 años en el Centro de la Ciudad.

Lamentablemente, la noche del sábado 30 de mayo de 2020 alrededor de las 11:45 pm, el negocio de mis padres fue destrozado por muchas personas que estaban haciendo disturbios y saqueos en el centro de la ciudad de Filadelfia. Estas personas irrumpieron en el negocio al romper las ventanas y puertas de vidrio del negocio, ya adentro comenzaron a robar la mercancía de la tienda, la computadora portátil de $700 de mi padre y alrededor de $3000 en efectivo, más tarde estas personas arrojaron 2 bombas de cóctel Molotov en el negocio de mi padre para quemarlo, y prendieron fuego adentro, lo que causó que mi padre perdiera alrededor de 10,000.00 en mercadería, también el agua que se usó para apagar el fuego dañó todos los equipos eléctricos / de internet y arruinó los pisos del negocio.

Lamentablemente, el seguro no cubre el vandalismo y mi padre necesita pagar de su bolsillo todos los daños pero es difícil para él en este momento debido a la pandemia. Este fondo se estableció para ayudarlos a recuperar su Zapateria, necesitamos arreglar el lugar y recuperar toda la mercancía y el equipo perdido. Esos intrusos causaron muchos daños y destrucción al negocio y ahora mis padres no pueden continuar trabajando.

Mi papá Luis y mi mamá María son personas trabajadoras y buenos ciudadanos que nunca han hecho daño a nadie y no se merecen lo que les sucedió a ellos ni a su negocio.
