Help My Mom's Electric Bill Texas Winter Storm

On Feb. 15th 2021, Texas experienced a catastrophic winter storm Uri. The state's inadequate electrical grid failed and energy rates went way up.
My mother (Nora Flores) lives in Edinburg ,Texas, her home was without power for 2 days, she and her step-children were in a house that went down to 30 degrees for a couple of days. Then when she did get her power back up, the rates were increased to asinine rates. Her bill for 4 days of usage is over $2,000.
Nora is the head of her household. She is essential worker and works at a nursing home making $11/hr. During this emergency she does not have the budget to cover this bill. No one should have to pay this much in basic utilities during such a catastrophic natural disaster.
Funds raised will go towards paying this bill and not having her energy cut off.
