Recent Widow Rebuilds After Harvey

In July my mother lost her husband of 38 years to cancer, two weeks later her car was totaled in a car accident and now her home is inhabitable due to Hurricane Harvey.

Unfortunately she has no home insurance and doesn't work. My sister and I are helping out as much as we can but our funds are running low, especially with the debt we've obtained from our father's funeral costs.

The Red Cross has denied us help and the FEMA assistance for temporary housing ended on 9/25. Please consider donating to help my mom get back on her feet. These donations will help to replace her refrigerator and all the food that molded, and repair the A.C unit that burned out during the storm. Have an inspector check her home for mold and an engineer to make sure the building is safe to live in. She will also use the donations for basic living expenses; temporary shelter, food, etc. 

This has been a tramatic summer to say the least and we would like to ease the stress financially for her as we work to cope with all that we have lost in such a short period of time.
