Helping my mom to a happier life!!!

Hey Guys,

I am extremely excited to announce that after many years of trying to move to a bigger and better city, one with far more opportunity for greater work and a happier life, my mom has finally decided to make the jump out of the small town she’s been stuck in for seven long years in Israel (I was clearly not an English major). 

My youngest sister, Almog (who is now almost 14), will also get a new opportunity to go to a better school and grow up with a higher quality of life.

My mom, Ricky, has a passion for making the most incredible cakes and deserts. That passion has been restricted because of her location. But now, after the move, she will have a much greater opportunity to share her creativity and gifts with the world.

This is a very exciting time for my whole family and we’re overjoyed for the most loving and amazing woman in our lives. But as some of you may know, everything in Israel is insanely expensive and ridiculously overpriced. From the actual move itself to the moving company costs, to getting some new furniture, to the new school fees for my sister and so forth, it will be a real challenge to truly make this happen and make it happen with grace and love. 

My mom has been raising both of my younger sisters on her own now for the past seven years in Israel. My family over here in the states has helped tremendously during this time but it is just tough to do it all alone. We’d be so grateful for a little help.

She is going to check out a new apartment this week and we are hoping to lock down a lease shortly thereafter. I am going to try and help as much as I can but unfortunately I cannot physically be there to help with the move itself. 

I am asking if all of my friends, and friends of their friends, can please try and contribute to help make this move an easier one. It would mean the world to me and even more so to my mom, who does not know I am doing this for her. Anything will help and will be deeply appreciated. 

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any and all of your support. And just know, anytime you want to visit the beautiful Israel, you’ll have a place to stay in the motherland.
