Please help Irma after battle with covid

We are asking for help from the media and community.

Irma Butron has been hospitalized for 6 months due to  Covid-19. Her journey while battling Covid-19 has been traumatizing and has had a detrimental effect on our family's financials and psychologically.

She contracted covid-19 back in January of 2021 on a trip to Laredo to visit her parents due to their contraction of covid 19. Her brother was a funeral director and passed away due to Covid -19 in January 2021. Her parents passed away in February 2021.

Irma's husband, son, and daughter contracted a severe variant of covid-19 however, they did not require an intensive hospitalization. 
Irma was able to receive a double lung transplant last May. Her surgery was successful and doctors expected her recovery to be a long one. But because of Gods' grace, she is currently at home with her family.

Irma is still facing a long road to recovery both medically and financially.
In addition, she is struggling to afford necessary medical equipment and assistance due to the lack of insurance.

The medications that she will need for the rest of her life without insurance will cost over 7,000 dollars per month. 

She is currently required to visit the hospital every week for therapy and follow-up visits.  The hospital is located in Houston Medical  Center so the cost of transportation and parking can add up in the long term. 

So far the hospital has already billed us over 6,000 dollars but we will not know the full amount until the coming weeks. 

Irma is also in need of medical supplies example wheelchair/walker and other medical equipment.
