Help my mom defeat colorectal cancer

Good morning my name is Princesse and I am collecting funds for my mom Agnes who is battling against colorectal cancer. We are in Cameroon and unfortunately my country doesn't have the facilities to treat such types of cancers.

For about 2 years, that is since early 2022 my mom has been sick. Taking away her smile and brightness. For those who know her she is nothing but a kind person. Always smiling, always putting others before her. Very hardworking. She raised us (her 2 children alone) . For these 2 years she has been from hospital to another doing a series of tests.The first diagnosis was pile. She took all the drugs prescribed but no change. Then in September 2023 after a series of tests, ultra sounds and colonoscopy; it was confirmed she has been suffering from internal pile and externile pile. Again another treatment was administered with so many drugs but her health kept detoriating. Early December the doctors decided she will undergo a heavy surgery for internal, external pile and anal fissure using the longo procedure.

So my mom decided it should be done on the 26th of December so she can spend Christmas with her family in case she doesn't make it. Yea she had actually gone pale. She was weighing about 55kg. She went in for the surgery on the 26th, the fissure was cut and when they were about to get it to cut off the internal pile they got confronted with a mysterious mass at her anus. So they had to abort the surgery and send her samples for biopsy which took 3 weeks to get the results. So the doctors kept her for 3 weeks in the hospital under observation while waiting for the results. She was no longer able to eat on her own, so much pains, blood when she stools etc. She was administered food(nutrients) via drip.

So after 3 weeks it was confirmed she is suffering from colorectal cancer. A series of MRI where done to confirm. Unfortunately this type of cancer is not being treated in our country Cameroon. No PETSCAN is done here, no radiotherapy. So the only solution is out of our country. A team from India came here and consulted her and they said the earlier we act the better. We can still save her. But if we waste too much time there will metastasis and at that stage it will be unsure. So she has to be evacuated to India where she has a series of scans to do , radiotherapy and chemotherapy to do. It has been 2 months we have been trying to raise the funds but we do not meet even 25% of it. I had to resign from my job in September to take care of her and my elder brother has been the one handling the bills. We have bills to pay, she has a special diet , she has drugs to take to help relieve her pain and medical checkups.

Right now my mom needs urgent assistance please. These woman raised her 2 children alone and has not even reaped the fruits of her labour. We still need her. She needs to live. The world needs kind people like her to make it a better place.

Your contribution will allow her to be evacuated to india , that is help pay for flight, her treatment which will be for about 3months, pay for lodging and feeding. It will help her devote herself fully to her recovery so that she can come back strong and continue to serve you as she so loves to do.

As mom battles this cruel disease, she requires extensive medical treatment including surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation and travel for clinical trials. These treatments come with exorbitant costs and our resources are limited.
